Let’s talk about my favourite everyday appropriate nude lipstick. Benefit They’re Real! double the lip in the shade Nude Scandal.
As benefit says it is beyond sexy lipstick and liner in one.
This is my first luxe lipstick and I absolutely love it.
Concept
Most of us struggle to find a lip liner which compliments the shade of our lipstick. Applying both can make your lips look defined and fuller.
If you see the tear drop shaped bullet of this product the tip section is darker and compliments the rest of the lipstick. So you don’t have to go through the trouble of finding a perfect match or all that malarkey because benefit has done it for you.
Shade
Nude scandal is a pinky nude color which looks really natural. Almost as if you haven’t applied anything but adds a dash of color to the face.
Formula and finish
It has semi matte finish which conditions your lip so you don’t feel dryness seeping in.
Application
Really smooth application. The lipstick glides easily. For best results make sure the darker tip is always on the outer side of your lip for the liner.
Longevity
About 5 to 6 hours. It fades away with food and drinks. Even though reapplication is always an option I do wish it had a better staying power. When it fades away it barely leaves any tint which does not make me happy.
