Makeup Revolution London SophX Extra Spice eyeshadow palette Review.

Sophie is YouTuber and a beauty blogger. This palette is from her collaboration with the brand Revolution formerly known as Makeup Revolution.

Let me tell you all about this palette.

First things first. Let’s talk packaging.

The rose gold mirror finish top flap with nude matte writing is absolutely gorgeous.

You can literally see yourself in the cover.

I wish it was scratch proof because mine already has so many scratches now.

(A girl can dream!)

Colors

18 colors in which you have 6 pressed shimmers and 12 mattes.

The shades range from bright red, orange, yellow, to earthy tones like khakhi, and deeper ones such as burgundy, browns, black.

Some of my favorite shades –

Romance – Dark pink shimmer is my go to shade for a dressy look.

Twenty one – This reddish pink shade clearly stands out in the palette.

Vitamin C – who doesn’t love a bright yellow.

Cookie dough – Perfect transition shade.

Infinity – To instantly brighten up the inner corner of the eyes. Or just use it as a blinding highlighter.

Mulled wine – For trying something different.

La Sun – It’s a good shimmer, no reason to not love this.

Everyday – The name says it all, really subtle shimmer shade.

Divide the palette in half-

So if you see the first block of 9 shades you’ll notice it’s all bright and sunny shades.

And the other block has deeper and earthy shades.

The color payoff is amazing. Each shade is so pigmented that just a little goes a long way. With so many color options just imagine the looks one can create 😍.

The dark shades such as Lakes, Mulled wine, Reputation are chalky and they will have more fallout than others so be careful while using them.

I have yellow undertoned skin so the shades such as Running late, Cookie dough and Vitamin C do not swatch very well on my hand. So I use a concealer or base coat of foundation on eyes before dabbing on color.
